Description

Overshot coverlet; undyed cotton and blue wool. Center seam joins two panels. All edges hemmed; the two side edges have now been turned into the center because of the excessive wear on them. Added fringe along one edge has been cut. Central motif consists of rows of large diamond filled squares with "X"'s in each corner and bands of elogated ovals along sides alternating with rows of smaller squares and stripes.
