Description

Overshot coverlet; undyed cotton and blue wool. Seams join the three panels of the coverlet. Selvedges on either side; hemmed top and bottom. Central motif is a row of lozenge-shapes alternating with a double row of overlapping circles; these form vertical stripes. The design was well laid out so that at both seams the pattern matches.
