Description

Figured coverlet; undyed cotton and red and blue wool, double cloth. Coverlet has two panels joined by a center seam. Selvedges on both sides. Fringed on all four sides, top and bottom have self fringe, blue areas on sides have fringe added on. Central motif contains alternating octagonal medallions joined by diamond filled rectangular sashes. Border is a wavy chain of flowers and leaves.
