Figured coverlet; undyed and blue cotton and blue, medium blue, and red wool, tied double cloth (Beiderwand). Center seam joins two panels. Top edge covered with twill tape, fringed on sides and bottom. Central motif consists of medallions of four roses alternating with fleurettes. Surrounding the medallions are eight-pointed stars. Side border contains pinwheels and trees. Bottom border is a repeating vine and basket motif. Secondary border on sides is a row of eight-pointed stars.Collection
