FIgured coverlet; undyed and blue cotton and pink wool, tied double cloth (Beiderwand). Center seam joins two panels. Hemmed on top, fringed on three sides. Central motif consists of sunbursts with a heart-shaped flower in the center. The sunburst is surround by a wreath of lilies and foliage. Borders on three sides depict birds looking away from one another. The birds are separated by foliage trees and rose bushes.Collection
