Figured coverlet; undyed cotton and red, green and blue wool, tied double cloth (Beiderwand). Hemmed top, sides and bottom fringed. Central motif is a boldly graphic quadrupled urn with scrolling foliage motif. Bottom border has a repeated pattern of a spray of large roses. Side borders include smaller roses in an urn alternating with scrolling leaves and berries.Collection
