Figured coverlet; undyed cotton and blue wool, tied double cloth (Beiderwand). Center seam joins two panels. Hemmed on the top and bottom; fringed on the sides. The central motif consists of medallions of four roses alternating with star motifs that have a heart-shaped flower at its center. Smaller stars are scattered throughout the center field. The borders are on three sides and show two birds on either side of a rose bush. Corner blocks have a vase with three flowers and woven text.Collection
