Figured coverlet; undyed and blue cotton and rust and teal wool, tied double cloth (Beiderwand). Center seam joins two panels. Hemmed top, fringed sides and bottom. Central motif consists of circular circular multi-floral medallions separated by four-pointed starburst motifs. Bottom border has birds on either sdie of a stylized tree facing away from one another and towards a rose bush. The side borders contain a four story building with an eagle atop the roof. The buildings are separated by two different stylized tree motifs.Collection
