Figured coverlet; undyed cotton and red and blue wool, tied double cloth (Beiderwand). Center seam joins two panels. Hemmed top, fringed sides and bottom. The central motif consists of large roses in full bloom with rose buds trailing alongside. Alternating with the rows of roses are diamond shaped motifs which contain four circular flowers and four leaves. Borders on three sides contain a meandering floral vine.Collection
