Description

Coverlet, overshot, handwoven of natural cotton and blue and red wool. Has a center seam that is hand sewn and mismatched. Shows wear, some holes and torn spots, some stains. Note pinned to coverlet states "family heirloom- to go with Great Gdma's loom. Coverlet woven by Elizabeth Tennant Price circa 1870. Acq from Ruth Stephens Kelley 1977". 4 raw edges. Cotton and wool.
