Description

Double-weave Coverlet, 70" X 82" (#24), wool, woven in 2 pieces and joined lengthwise, in dark blue, light blue, and madder-red, featuring a "snow-flake" design at the center of a delicately drawn madder square lattice, c. 1830, very fine weave, the attached side fringe missing in several places and a 4" x 6" area of damage, otherwise very good condition.
