Description

Jacquard coverlet Design: large center medallion of 16 point star and circle of roses, wide floral border, the four colors run in stripes, eagles in four corners. Double weave one edge hemmed Cotton warps alternate, company in Lancaster, Pennsylvania made similar patterns and color arangements, ca. 1855-1875. Undyed cotton and green, red, purple, and blue wool.
