Description

Overshot coverlet; undyed cotton and blue wool. Center seam joins two panels. Selvedges on both sides; hemmed top and bottom. Central motif is a lover's knot, which consists of five checkerboard-like squares within interlocking rings. Border is a wide geometric pattern.
