Figured coverlet; undyed cotton and red and blue wool, tied double cloth (Beiderwand). Center seam joins two panels. Selvedges on sides; top and bottom hemmed with fringe attached to bottom. Central motif consists of medallions of a flower within a sunburst and smaller floral medallions on point connected to one another by a chain of dot filled diamonds. Border pattern shows a church alternating with a floral tree.Collection
