Description

Overshot coverlet; undyed cotton and blue wool. Center seam joins two panels, although the pattern does not match very well. Selvedges on either side; hemmed top and bottom. central motif is a pattern called "Governor's Garden with Bow Knot". This pattern consists of a block of four circular motifs separated by three bars and a table.
