Description

Overshot coverlet; undyed cotton and light blue, blue and brown wool. The coverlet consists of two panels with the center seam butted and apparently original overcast stitching. The center seam is well-matched and intact. The hand-hemmed finish at the bottom appears to be original; the hand stitched top hem does not. The central motifs are dark blue tables alternating with nine-star blocks.
