Description

The photo was taken around 1900 when Frank Noyes owned it. Frank and Mary Lord Noyes lived in a small red house on the brook called "Millbrow." The mill ran 24 hours/day and employed nine men. Charles W. Robbins (husband of Emma May Bunker) was killed in an accident in the mill in 1903. The mill burned and was rebuilt by Noyes, who later sold it to his cousin, Fletcher Taft Wood.
