Full text available for free download at HathiTrust. See link below. Grace Belle Wood Clark, daughter of Samuel Godfrey and Emeline Tracy Wood, was born in West Gouldsboro, Maine on May 8, 1873. Her parents operated the Wayside Inn. After graduating from Eastern Maine Conference Seminary in Bucksport in 1892, Grace became a school teacher. She married Jerome Borden Clark, a schoolteacher from Steuben, on November 20, 1901. Grace was a charter member of the Daughters of Liberty, serving as its secretary. She was a librarian at the West Gouldsboro Library from 1918 until 1925. Grace died on July 6, 1941 and is buried with her parents in Lakeview Cemetery in West Gouldsboro.
