Description

This photo depicts Lyndon State College President Dr. Peggy Ryan Williams standing in the President's Hallway in The Theodore N. Vail Center at an undisclosed time during her tenure as president. Dr. Williams was president from 1989 to 1997, leaving at that time to become the first woman president at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. She has since retired, and been named President Emerita at both Lyndon State College and Ithaca College. (see March, 2019 NVU press release below). Note that the black and white screened photo has been partially restored, adjusting both contrast and sharpness to diminish the moire effect of scanning a screened image (the pixelated dot pattern). Anomalies in the scan still exist.
