Donation Box, Designed and created by MVS-Lyndon founding member Dick Collins ’53

Context

Dick Collins ’53, was the founding member of Manor Vail Society - Lyndon in 2009. He was a vocational educator by profession with a special talent for woodworking. It was his dream to build a free-standing museum on the campus that would stand as a tribute to the Vail Mansion era of Lyndon Teachers College and Lyndon State College. He captured the essence of his vision in this donation box he created for Vail Museum. It was placed in the museum at the time of its dedication in 2012.
