Description

Post Civil War U.S. artillery officer's kepi. Top part of hat is blue wool. Brown or black ribbon sewn to front, back and sides of the blue wool. Two dark brown or faded black ribbons are sewn around bottom part of cap with a small red ribbon between. Bill is hard, black leather. Inside cap is "BROWNING KING & CO. UNIFORMS. 408-410-412 BROOME ST. NEW YORK." Partially torn round paper sticker says "7 1/2".
