Model of Chesapeake & Ohio Canal boat. Model is accurate in detail with three cabins. Front cabin was for mules, center cabin for hay storage and back cabin for captain's family. Cabins are painted with red roofs, hatch covers are black, front and rear top part of hull is painted white. Boat name "CHAUTAUQUA" is painted on front of boat on both sides. On back of boat in black paint is "CANAL TOWAGE Co No60". On bottom of boat is written in black marker "DO NOT FLOAT: MADE WITH WATER SOLUABLE (sic) GLUE".Acquisition
