Description

Edison cylinder phonograph, 1561a. Crank handle on one side, chromed cylinder for placing recordings. On front "GEM". Above that "TRADEMARK Thomas A. Edison". Plate fixed to back says "MANUFACTURED UNDER THE PATENTS OF THOMAS A. EDISON, et als, at Orange, N.J., U.S.A.". Below that are many patent dates and a statement concerning condition of sale. There is also the serial number "G179441". There is a wooden lid with handle to cover the machine, 1561b.
