This colored post card contains 26 different scenic pictures of Harpers Ferry. It is fitted with its own envelope, which has a flap and open slot to keep it closed, and an area for postage and a mailing address. Each side of the outside of the envelope includes a picture. The side including the postage space has an image titled "John Brown's Fort", and the other side containing the envelope flap has an image titled "John Brown's Fort and Tablets, Harpers Ferry, W. VA." On the inner side of the envelope, there is a descriptive message printed containing a brief history of Harpers Ferry.
