Description

World War II OD (olive drab) officer's tunic with major's oak leaves on epaulets. All buttons except one non-brass on front are in place. On right cuff is meritorious unit commendation wreath, on right shoulder is patch of Communications Zone, European Theatre. On left shoulder is patch of Sixth Service Command. On the left cuff are two World War I service stripes meaning the officer spent one year overseas. There are also three World War II service stripes meaning the officer spent one and a half years overseas. Two World War II service ribbons are sewn above left pocket. Cloth belt with brass buckle is attached to tunic.
