Scrapbook containing mostly photocopied materials related to the history of the Old Opera House in Charles Town, West Virginia. Prepared by Opera House volunteer Carol Gallant to mark the 100th anniversary of the opening of the New Opera House in 1911.
The front cover is a color photocopy of the Old Opera House 1976 reopening pamphlet cover. Scrapbook contents include:
1 enlarged color postcard image of the "New Opera House, Charlestown, W.Va."
24 stapled, photocopied, typed pages (numbered 8-32) listing Spirit of Jefferson microfilm tapes that mention the Opera House from 1909 through 1946.
7 photocopied news clippings dated 1973 - 1980.
2 photocopied, typed interviews with Dixie Kilham and Millard Bushong.
