Description

U. S. flag flown at the Tomb of the Unknowns. Stamped on end "FLAG, NAT'L. USA GS-07F-86220 8345-00-753-3235 5' x 9' 6" ANNIN & CO. U.S. PROPERTY". Flag has framed certificate with it. On the certificate is a depiction of the Tomb of the Unknowns with a soldier marching in front of it. On either side are American flags. The certificates reads "ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY THE FLAG of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WAS FLOWN OVER THE TOMB OF THE UNKNOWNS IN HONOR OF HARPERS FERRY BOLIVAR DISTRICT VETERANS 23 May 1996 DATE (signed) JOHN C. METZLER, JR. Superintendent".
