Correspondence written on Hotel Conner (Harpers Ferry, West Virginia) stationery to Mr. Cary Saffell ?, Culpeper, Virginia from C.W. Walter ? regarding B&O Railroad. Dated July 8, 1902. (83-1). Envelope with Hotel Conner return address. Affixed is a 2 cent stamp, postmarked from Harpers Ferry July 8, 1902, 12 M. Also a postmark on the back from Culpeper, Virginia dated July ?, 1902, 7AM. (83-2) The author is recommending to Cary (spelled Carey on the letter) to pursue a position with the B&O Railroad that he not accepting in Cumberland to work further west for more money.
