Description

German bisque female doll in handmade wooden cradle, with handmade mattress, pillow, and quilt. Doll has leather body with bisque face and hands and is wearing a fabric dress and lace hat (was attached to real hair with a pin, but now is detached). Bobby pins hold the doll's curls in place. Multi-colored beaded necklace around doll's neck. On upper back just below neck is written: Germany NAC 74 9/0. Quilt has floral pattern in red, green, and white fabric, with multi-colored floral fabric backing. Pillow is covered in pink and white striped fabric. Mattress is two pieces of sponge material wrapped in white cloth (stitch added to cloth in 2014 to hold together).
