Scope and Content

Ledger containing minutes and reports of the Board of Deacons of the Charles Town Presbyterian Church. The first entry is the meeting minutes from the Board of Deacons on March 27th 1882. Robert Orndorff donated this book in memory of his father, Marshall Lee Orndorff who was the Secretary and maintained the entries from July 18, 1935 to April 10, 1947. Entries include Board minutes, Financial Statements, Reports to the Congregation and other church documentation during that time period. Spine is deteriorated but some reference can be deciphered relating to "Record" and "Presbyterian Church".
