The cover of the booklet is a printed painting of two men camping on the banks of a river or lake. Text along the bottom of the print reads: Philip R. Goodwin WHERE A MAN'S A MAN. Below the Farmer's Daybook, black text reads: HYMAN VIENER WHOLESALE DEALER IN Junk of All Kinds, Hides, Furs and Paper Stock; Plants Bought and Dismantled - Correspondence Solicited; Charles Town, West Virginia. At the bottom of the poster, a 1924 calendar is attached with three staples. The top page is for January 1924 (the calendar is intact, with all months included). Both the calendar and the Farmer's Daybook are copyrighted by The Osbourne Company, Newark, N.J. The top of the poster is braced with a metal edge, with the remains of a metal hanging hook at the center.
