Collection of assorted sheet music, booklets, and books (over 200 pieces) belonging to long-time Jefferson County, WV, music teacher Dorothy W. Conklyn. Materials date from the early 1800s to 1950s, with most items from the first half of the 20th century.A large portion of the sheet music (approximately 80 pieces) date from 1908-1927, including music from World War I (WWI). A few date from 1930 to the 1950s. Of local interest is "Apple Blossom Time in the Virginias," published by the Eighth Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival, Winchester, Virginia, 1931.
