Hand-written personal letter, dated November 25, 1833, from Thomas B. Washington at the University of Virginia, to his father, Bushrod Corbin Washington, who resided at Claymont, near Charles Town, Jefferson County, Virginia.
Letter concerns his need for funds for books, board, stationery, room rent, class fee, shoe and boot account, and tailor's bill; status of his studies in moral philosophy, political economy, and French; and matters related to friends and family.
