Testimonial in memory of George W. Shutt (1805-1835) given at the meeting of the Potomac Rifle company, dated January 7, 1836. Shutt had been a member of the rifle company. The son of Philipp and Anna Maria Breisch Shutt, he was the among the second generation of Shutts to live in Shepherdstown.
