United Confederate Veteran uniform (jacket and pants). Blue-gray wool. Four buttons on front of jacket; two on left sleeve; one missing from right sleeve. Brass buttons wit "SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS" and the Commonwealth of Virginia official seal. Trousers have small wool belt sewn to back with metal buckle, three buttons on fly, and six suspender buttons around waist band. Jacket has four outside and one inside pockets. A tobacco plug was in an outside jacket pocket wrapped in kraft paper. Plug is 7.5 cm square and 3 cm thick. Pants have two regular front pockets and one watch pocket. Two pockets on back of trousers.Acquisition
