Scope and Content

Shannondale Springs advertising brochure, undated. Paperbound, green that has faded to brown on the outside. Pasted on inside of front cover is a tri-fold photographic print of "Lovers Leap" with Shannondale Springs in foreground. 8 unnumbered pages, include (1) map showing relation of Shannondale Springs to Washington and Baltimore; (2) photograph of north front of hotel; (3) photograph of the two mineral springs and lawn sloping from hotel to river; (4) photograph of "Lovers Leap" looking north; and (5) photograph of the largest mineral spring and lawn to west of hotel. H.C. Getzendanner was the owner of Shannondale Springs. Brochure was printed by Press of W. F. Roberts Co., Washington.
