Description

Wrought iron oval-shaped slave collar decorated with groove and crescents. Used to restrain enslaved people. Collar is composed of two u-shaped pieces hinged on one side so they can be opened to enclose an enslaved person's neck. On the other side the two pieces are joined and can be secured to prevent the wearer from removing the collar and provide for attachment to a chain.
