A land grant on parchment awarding a tract of land in western Virginia along the Little Kanawha River to Thomas Rutherford of Berkeley (now Jefferson) County for service during the Revolutionary War; signed by P. Henry (Patrick Henry), dated November 30, 1785. "P. Henry" appears in lower right corner. Residue of red seal appears in lower left corner.
