Scope and Content

Minutes of Charles Town Bicentennial Committee planning the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the founding of Charles Town. Included at the back of the minutes are 1) stationery of the bicentennial committee listing chair people, coordinators, secretary, treasurer, and board of directors 2) thank you letters from three repositories to which a copy of the 1986 booklet "Charles Town Bicentennial, 1786-1986," had been given. Glued to the notebook originally housing the minutes was a label with the name and address of committee secretary Jeanne V. Nerhood.
