Photograph album belonging to Mrs. G. W. Shutt, first wife of George W. Shutt, debossed with gold ink: "Mrs. G. W. Shutt June, 1866". Contains many photographs and a drawing "believed to be a pencil sketch of Logan Osburn by Ada (Adeline or Adaline) Osburn Palmer GBS". Notes added by George B. Shutt. Donor is the great-grandson of Virginia Osburn Shutt, the second Mrs. G. W. Shutt Introduction reads: "This was originally the property of the first wife of George W. Shutt - the aunt of my grandmother who became the second wife of George W. Shutt. Most of these photos herein are unidentified friends and relatives of the first Mrs. Shutt while she lived in Springfield, Ill. For care of other photos - I have added and have so marked. George B.
