Seven (7) items collected by Emma Tomlinson Strider (daughter of Luke Cheney Strider and Mary Gibbons Tomlinson Strider and granddaughter of Benjamin Tomlinson and Emma Elizabeth Gibbons Tomlinson): ARC624-1: A letter dated 18 Sept. 1863 to an unidentified woman at Charles Town, from her son, apparently in New York. ARC624-2: A letter dated 14 Feb. 1862 from John H. Gibbons in Richmond, VA, to his sister at Charles Town. (Although she is not identified directly, her husband is referenced as Tomlinson. Benjamin Tomlinson married Elizabeth Emma Gibbons.) ARC624-3: Envelope addressed to Capt. F. G. Martindale in care of Miss O. F. Tomlinson (Orra F. Tomlinson, daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth Emma Tomlinson). ARC624-4: The Winchester News newspaper dated Friday, 10 November 1865, containing on the front page an article with observations made very shortly after the conclusion of the Civil War.
