Seven photographs collected by Charles Locke Skinner. (Captions for 3, 4, 6, 7 from donors) IMG3708-1 Carte de visite of John James Locke (1825-1866) by P. L. Perkins, Baltimore photographer (no date). Locke was a Charles Town merchant and son of William French Locke (1788-1850), also a merchant. They operated Charles Town Mill on Evitts Run. (See ARC695 for more on Locke merchants.)
