Thomas C. Green house at the corner of George and Congress streets. Arrow shows repair on clapboards where piece of shell adapter went through the wall. A shell, probably from one of General John Imboden's guns during the attack of Charles Town on Oct. 18, 1863, exploded outside the Green house sending the fuse adapter into the wall where it remained for nearly 150 years.Acquisition
