Scope and Content

(1) Three rewards of merit (presented to Nancy Louise Wood by her elementary school teachers) were pasted or glued to cardboard (and should be removed). The teachers' signatures are difficult to read, but one appears to be "G. W. Jewett". (2) Typewritten note about Nancy Louise Wood which was scanned and is in the media file (the original is in the folder with the certificates). Nancy Louise Wood married Nathan Brackett in 1865 and spent most of her adult life at Storer College where she taught and her husband was the first president.
