An official program of the V-J Day celebrations. The program includes a schedule of events, A Military History of Jefferson County by Dr. Henry T McDonald, Brief History of Jackson-Perks Post No. 71, A list of the officers of Jackson-Perks Post, lists of honored dead from Jefferson County who served in World War I or World War II, and an Honor Roll of all men who have served in either war. Inside the front cover is a small leaflet for the Memorail Service, which was held at the Presbyterian Church to honor all of the men who died during these wars.
