Men in front of a Charles Town train station on their way to Camp Meade, a training camp for World War I soldiers. Written at top right corner is "Seeing the boys off to Camp Meade, Charles Town, W. Va.," and at bottom left corner is "League Photo." "1917" written on back of postcard.
According to the museum's historian, the train station was located on the north side of East North Street between North Samuel and North Mildred Streets. It burned in the 1970s and was removed. Today Creamer's Auto Service is located there.Acquisition
