Compact disc containing pdf files of three account books of Charles Town merchant Ann Frame for general merchandise and liquor; scanned from microfilm at Shepherd University by donor and Mark Reinhart. Original is in Virginia Historical Society in Richmond, VA; see Notes. Included are: --Account books, 1800-1812, of Ann Frame, Charles Town, Jefferson County, Va. [now W. Va.], concerning a general store that sold dry goods and liquor, including a Black Ledger (accounts of enslaved and free black people); 1798 accounts for estate of Joseph Frame (Ann Frame's husband, who died before reaching Charles Town); miscellaneous accounts; and an advertisement for patent medicine. --Accounts, 1807-1810, of Ann Frame (merchants, of Charles Town, Jefferson County, Va.
