ARC894-2: Front cover is labeled "H. L. Ronemus Wheatland Mills June 1889." Transactions from June 1889 through December 1890. Transactions are listed by purchaser's name. Harry L. Ronemus (1860-1934) grew up on the Ronemus farm, Wildwood, near Duffields. In June 1889,"Wheatland Mills" was owned by I. N. [Isaac Newton] Renner. Ronemus was the clerk at Renner's Mill. In February 1891, Renner was advertising that his mill was for sale. It may be that the December 1890 entries were the last while Renner owned the mill. Renner's or Wheatland Mills was located on the Bullskin Run immediately to the east of the Shenandoah Valley Railroad and less than one mile west of the Berryville and Charlestown Turnpike (Rt 340 today).
