Harewood, Charles Town, West Virginia: HAREWOOD: Built by George Washington for his brother, Samuel who moved here about 1770. Here Louis Phillippe, later King of France, and his two brothers lived in exile. In this house Dolly Payne Todd was married to James Madison, afterward President of the United States.
