Looking Down High Street, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia - These privately owned buildings which pre-date the Civil War now invite over one million annual tourists. Photographed from the porch of the Bolivar House of Antiques we view on the right the columns of Dr. Callar's home, on the left the Towne House of Gifts, the House of Brass, the Toy Soldier, the John Brown Wax Museum, the Coach House Gift Shop (this building once parked the carriages for the livery stable,) the Armory House, the Tim Type Photo Studio (which once was a Union Prison and on its walls still is the handwriting of the Confederate Prisoners), the Molly Rebel Shop and Museum and the Coffee Mill Restaurant, which once was a livery stable.Acquisition
